Stock News: CNA secured 5.9 mln sgd contract!

CNA Group Ltd said it has secured a 5.9 mln sgd contract to design, supply and commission a cooling management system for a residential community in Dubai. This is CNA's first project in the Middle East. When completed by early 2007, the system will cover three district cooling plants that will provide over 34,000 metric tons of chilled water an hour to 117 condominium blocks in the financial hub called Discovery Gardens. The chilled water will be used for air conditioning systems in the individual condominium blocks. Prior to its project in Dubai, CNA had installed district cooling systems in Taiwan, including at the Tainan Technical University and the 85-storey Tuntex Sky Tower.
